I've come back time and time again for their dosas and this time we tried the gobi for the first time and just WOW. Also wonderful servers as always! However, please stop serving tap water, the taste is rancid.

There are quite a few Indian restaurants to choose from in Fresno. I was looking for dosa and this place has it. This is a large cake made from peas on a big hot plate and wrap with potato paste. We ordered crispy papad, naan, lamb curry and dosa with lamb. After the meal, interesting was there not a place to add tip. We left some on the table anyway.

Ambiance: There is nice seating inside and the place can accommodate some big groups. The staff is nice and the food was brought out pretty quickly. Taste test: I had the butter chicken, naan, and samosas. The samosas were crispy and airy and the filling was good. The flavor of the butter chicken was flavorful and wasn't too spicy.

We stopped in for lunch, on a recommendation of a friend, on our way back from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The inside, I have been told, is in the slow process of being upgraded -it needs it (it is just an older building) but I was here for the food....and I would go back for the food. We were so excited about having some good Indian food that we ordered way too much. The menu has so many great offerings that it's hard to choose, but there is something for everyone. We had a young man take our order, and he was able to answer most questions except what the spice was in the dessert (ps it's cardamom). We started with samosas, which were stuffed full, but the outside was fluffy and crispy. We order the brahma bull dosa -spicy chili sauce, potatoes, cheese, and cilantro. This was our first one ever, and it was so good and HUGE! We got an order of chicken biriyani, which is my husband's favorite, and it had a ton of flavor and a good amount of spicy kick. We got a curry combo plater that had so much stuff on it rice, chutneys, sauces, Naan, and a curry of your choice - I got veggie korma. The platter also came with payasam- which was strange and amazing at the same time. It is sweet tapioca pearls, milk, and cardamom. Overall, if I was staying in the Fresno area or needing a lunch or dinner break driving through, it would be worth a stop in if you enjoy Indian food that feels like homemade.

Whenever I come down to visit family in the Fresno area, I always have to come to Brahma Bull! Their dosas are amazing. My personal favorite is the Paneer Tikka Masala Dosa. It's stuffed with paneer tikka masala and comes with sambar and chutney. The flavors are phenomenal and the dosa itself is always crispy and airy. The staff is always kind and the turn around time for your meal is fairly quick. I like the overall decor of the restaurant too. If you're craving dosas and are in Fresno then Brahma Bull is the place to go!

I placed an order for pick-up. They were nice enough to allow me to order 20 min before they closed. When I arrived my order was ready. I ordered plain Naan, chicken samosas and chicken curry. The samosas had a great crisp to the dough and a great flavor for the filling. I really enjoyed the curry chicken and would say it was medium in spiciness. Not too spicy and not too mild. There was no rice included with my curry chicken which was kind of a bummer but it worked out that I had ordered the naan so I could eat it with it. Great food and great flavors. So nice to have this place less than 5 min away.
